The Cross Cancer Institute is the comprehensive cancer treatment and research centre of Northern Alberta, and is among world leaders in cancer research and patient care.
All donations and fundraising activities on behalf of the Cross Cancer Institute are handled by the Alberta Cancer Foundation, the fundraising arm of the Alberta Cancer Board. Funds raised help cancer patients and families in this province by supporting and enhancing Alberta Cancer Board programs, its treatment facilities, and community cancer centres, such as the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton and the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary.
Every dollar donated to the Cross Cancer Institute stays in Edmonton and is of tremendous benefit to patient care by helping us to further cancer research, new equipment purchases, and special programs that would otherwise go unfunded.
